Learn more about the top issues I will face head on
Many of the problems we face today are the direct result of overly progressive policies and decision making by our leaders who have relinquished their authority to lobbyists, activists, and advocacy groups. They care more about their own political future and aspirations than the well-being of Angelenos and the City of Los Angeles. They cave to political pressure knowing the results will be disastrous. We need leaders that will stand up to these groups, not kowtow to them.
We can trace the surge in crime in our district back to the protests and riots that took place in 2020 when activist groups demanded City Hall defund the police and an enact an extreme bail reform agenda. At the same time our invaluable police force was being demonized, and our leaders stood with the activists and complied with their demands. Similarly, in 2019, the city council caved to homeless advocate groups in a settlement agreement which allowed homeless people to use our sidewalks to store their belongings without limitation. Since then, our streets have become more and more littered with trash. The homeless population continues to rise and spread throughout our beautiful city. We can no longer allow these groups to dictate policy and make idealistic & impractical demands to the detriment of the majority of Angelenos.
